In the 9 years since I retired from that stressful job, I have had 3 minor attacks. As soon as I feel a twinge I go on a clear liquid diet for a few days. Some people can't eat fiber from a couple of weeks, up to a month. You have to learn what your body is telling you. also eat small meals while you are recovering from an attack.
I eat anything I want and nothing seems to bother me, BUT REMEMBER,everybody is different.
You can get wonderful advice from the Mayo Clinic, just Google it.
Best of luck
