My WBC was at 8.9 with my First Attack, and I had an Abcess...and You CAN have an Infection without it showing up in Lab work yet..your WBC goes Up when ur Body Responds to the Infection..that is Not always right away...Unfortunately..is why even IF you have had a Panel Done, if Symptoms Persist you Go Back In to get another test. My Last Attack I had SERIOUS Pain, Symptoms 2 days before it showed up in my CBC. Always Listen to Your Symptoms First..Literally Learn to Go With What Your GUT is Telling You.
I did (Almost) Everything right..I Ate very CLEAN ~
Always have with the Exception of the Fact I LOVE Pepsi...Ugh. Always been a Hugh Fiber eater, I have NEVER been Constipated, have always Exercised..
Keep a food Journal..Learn to Meditate everyday..Keep Stress Levels as LOW as Possible, Not always Possible to Rid Self of Stress, but you can Diminish the Affects of it on Your Body.
I Wish for You the Very best..ur in a hard spot...Hugs !
To answer specifically, I was diagnosed w/diverticulosis & within 2 years it progressed to diverticulitis, emergency surgery last July into November...et cetera.
It showed up so suddenly, I had the WBC, CBC, etc. & then pumped-up w/antibiotics 'til the surgery HAD TO BE DONE.
So far, I'm experiencing the usual pain at the site w/ dressings changed 2Xs daily.
Diet does help. I too meditate, do Lavender incense & keep stress out of my life! I won't let it be around me!
I'd luv to be able to give you a time-line w/great healing news; but, you know it is different for each of us.
It will end.
Keep yourself healthy with what works for you. Take care! Peace, Franciann.
