The very first time I had this, a nurse practitioner diagnosed me with a prolapsed uterus. It wasn't that. it was diverticulitis. Now I feel like that again, but I have been diagnosed with diverticulitis. Believe me, it is diverticulitis. I was just wondering if this feeling is normal. I am feeling better except for this pressure.

I never had that feeling. I felt like I was a big balloon full of gas and wished someone would stick me with a pin and let all the gas out.

Intense pain on my left side and sometimes I could barely walk.

I have never had that sensation, I to felt like I needed to be pricked with a pin and still do at times. I think you need to go see your doc.

I did feel that way sometimes - after I was diagnosed with DV in ER, then back home and on the horrid (yet necessary & effective) antibiotics. Lasted a few days or so, intermittently. I never felt anything quite like but imagined maybe this is what feels like to have your uterus falling. not a good feeling. thank god it went away, cause ya know I need something more to stress over (roll eyes). anyway - much better now with left side twinges here and there, though not that particular feeling again.
see your doctor and tell him. the more information you give - the more information you may get - hopefully, at any rate.

I've never felt that kind of pain; mine was hard and deep and I had experienced diverticulitis, hernia, and ruptured ovarian tube..if I were you, I'd call my Doctor as others here have recommended. "Take care

it wasn't a pain - more of a feeling/sensation - separate from the diverticulitis pain which was pronounced and deep.

You are so right. It is not really a pain. Just a feeling that is hard to explain.

I have that sensation too - it only seems to come at that time of the month. I have even been wondering if this could be endometriosis on top of the DV.
