I had purchased the 2 bottles of Magnesium citrate as the paperwork for my colectomy directed. Today, I am going over another set of papers and it says 2 bottles (4 oz. each) Seems like a small amount. The bottles I bought are 10 oz. Does anyone have experience with this clean out procedure? Thanks for any advice.
I have search for the answer for you and cannot find one. They always say follow the directions of your healthcare provider. I used 2 bottles of Magnesium citrate for one of my colonoscopies. I think it was two 10 ounce bottles. That is still a small amount of liquid. BUT, I cannot be sure. I am 75 percent sure I drank two 10 ounce bottles.
If your paperwork says 4 oz then that is what you should do. I agree that 4 oz sounds wrong. Hopefully you have been on liquids all day. Drink lots of water.
