Just getting over my worst flare-up yet. 12 days flat on my back in bed with fever, took bucketloads of augmenten the whole time. Pain was out of control so had to go to ER. Out of desparation I went to an acupuncturist at about day 11 when I wasn't getting better and still had fever. First acupuncture treatment gave me pain relief and I felt a bit better for a few hours. 2 days later, second treatment, felt better, pain blocked, and that night fever finally went away and stayed away. Going again tomorrow. Don't know if it was coincidence and this flare-up had run its course or due to the acupuncture but am SO happy to be up and around and without pain. Also, this is the first flare-up that did not show an actual abcess on the CT scan but swelling and inflammation of the colon. Worst pain of all my flare-ups. Curious if anyone has tried CBD gummies? Any impact?
Went through hours if hellscape pain, just me and my torso - couldn't stand to listen to music or TV in the background - hour after hour..
I know gummies don't hurt anything when nothing active, but I can't hold anything down during a flare, so not sure.
I smoked some hybrid and it helped some with the nausea - not sure about pain relief, but I realized afterwards how over the top anxious I was and that anxiety going away for awhile made laying with the pain easier..
I don't think gummies would hurt anything, so totally worth a try.
