If you want to continue to do things in your life that you enjoyed before your injury, disease or disability, you need to look at what is important and then go for it. I'm not saying it will be easy or that you may not need to make accommodations to attain those things. For example, you may need a sidecar for your O2 tank or for you to ride in. I thought I would need to get a motorcycle with a sidecar to drive from until I found my Spyder.
There are tour companies that cater to individuals with disabilities and if you search, I'm sure you can find one that will match you with a driver to "chauffeur" you. This may be a simple need of having someone show you the loading dock so you can use the freight elevator to get into some of the historic buildings and museums in Europe or Asia. If there is a will, find the way.
