In winter I have inside garden in my din rm, n kitchen. Kitchen window is good location for herbs. if your window doen'e have a ledge build a shelf across the window. hang shelf ends out onto wall as liken to curtain rod brackets. I'm limit on counter space. so I built shelves across 2 windows.

I use zip lock tops plastic bags to freeze fruits vegs n fish.
as bad as my legs are I'm going to try to bag a deer.

while I have launfry detergent on my mind. My Grandmother always combind vinegar, n bake ing soda. she use it for laundry n to clwean house n glass with. she also maded ly soap.

1 more thing. regarding white n sweet potatoes, n yams for winter. for soups n stews. partly cook n drain let cool n place in zip lock bags, n freeze. Bell pepper, banana peppers can also be frozen.
White potatoes are very very unhealthy food.

once in a while when I can't seem to get my feel of the so called mid night refg raid foods. I will use 2 single serveing pks of flavored oat meal, n up to 2 slices of Sara lee 45 cal bread. 2 slice is 90 cal.'s. the oat meal that I use is 100 cal.'s pk.
when I dump most of dry oat meal into bowl I make sure not to pour whole pk into bowl because the bottom half of pk is sugar.
this ddiffrently instantly fels me up. even when I get up to start my day I still feel full.
