I record weekly, but when I have a binge, I weigh daily to see how it affected my wt.
I just hate to see a gain, but it is a work in progress.
My binges are getting less frequent, but they are only a kitchen away. I am trying to drink more, water, coffee, etc and that helps some.
We will all figure this out.
I tend to be a daily weigher. It helps me understand how my body responds to certain things and how many days it takes to show up on the scale. I do know a lot of people though who can only weigh every couple weeks - more often makes them really anxious.
Its all boils down to is not getting frustrated and move on..This is a journey and learning and watching on how my body will change.
I weigh once that a few people told me and not being obessed of what the number on the scale says. I am doing good tracking..even brought pencils, pencil sharpners, folders on ongoing tracking calories..carbs..looking through to making wise food choices.
what reboot says...Its tricky..so true.as much a personal use how we handle about the scale.
Again all,,Thanks! :)
Bottom line is that we can't always control what the scale will say but we can control how many calories we eat each day That's the more important number we should focus on. If the numbers in our food journal are where they should be the numbers on the scale will eventually follow.
For me, how I think about what I eat and how I respond mentally to what I see on the scale, how I respond to food cravings etc is 90% of the process. The other half is what I actually eat ;-)
