211 was my curse, stayed there or above for months. Finally made it down to 204. Went back up to 219, and am now finally headed back down again. But Easter is coming up.
Sigh. I never thought it would take me this long. But at least I'm much better off where I am than where I was.
Pepperman - Don't you just love all those chocolate holidays? I swear there are more of them every year. :(
12 years ago (I think) I was probably around 140. Since then, I've been up and down. Last 5-7 years hovering around 170-190 and at times tipping into the lower 200's.
Depression was also a contributing factor for me. Now I face the music.
My opinion: I believe that as we work on our being, it helps us to lose weight & to stay fit. It works hand-in-hand.
Let's take a day at a time, and sometimes a moment at a time. You and I have great potential every day to be a better us.
I wish you only the best.
Hmmm . . . does just a bit of dark chocolate help you PepperMan?
Facing50 ~ Weight creeps up, but I just wish it would have a way to just creep . . . creep . .. . creep away.
highest about 350lbs a couple of months ago.
My weight crept up between the ages of 19 and 26. Then I lost about 100lbs. Since then I have gained the 100lbs back plus more.
Now I'm on the downward slope again. After all this effort, I am never going up the hill again!
In my 20s,30s,40s; I was 105 to 120s
In my 50s; I was 130 - 150
Now in my 60s; Highest 175, now about 150.
When I retired and became more relaxed and always around food, here came the lbs.
I would like to lose at least 20.
My goal is 120 - 130, before I am 65..lol.
My best to everyone......great topic.....
