thanks
It's chemical food. Filled with toxins and things you body cannot process. For example, nutria sweet studies actually show that it makes you GAIN weight.
Just me....but must making smart and healthy choices with a little pre planning, and exercise of course, is the reall way to go.
It doesn't come off overnight. No matter what you do. Slow and steady will keep it off for good. It's a reprogramming of the mind and body.
Side note... I've lost 73 lbs on my own doing this....
My goal is to lose 34 pounds and I'm currently half way done. I joined the program because I have a friend who is about to reach her goal of losing 100 pounds on the program.
There are two elements of cost with this program.
There is a cost per week for the counseling (you visit them 3 days a week to check in with an individual counselor). They figure this one time cost based on the number of weeks they estimate reaching your goal. You then get to continue seeing them an additional 4 weeks of a balancing period and then an extra 12 weeks to continue seeing them to ensure you maintain your new weight. The costs may vary, but as a point of reference, I think it was approximately $450 for my 34 pound goal, and that covers me to receive counseling from them from December to August.
The second element of the cost is purchasing high protein snacks and supplements from them. As part of the "plan" you are required to eat 2 of their snacks a day. The supplements are suggested but not required. These can seem a bit pricey, but I find the cost totally worth it. The cost may be a little more than buying your own protein bars / vitamins, but it's not an extreme cost.
I was very concerned about the supplements. I didn't want to get pumped full of chemicals that would make me feel weird. They have an option for the main metabolism booster that has no stimulants in it. This made me a little more comfortable.
I finally had to decide to trust it and not worry too much about it, and I'm really glad I did. Except for the 2 snacks a day, I get to cook my own food. I'm learning much better portion control. I actually feel like it's hard to eat all the food I'm required to eat. And best of all, I don't feel any negative effects of the supplements.
I'm sure some people have negative things to say about the program, just like anything else, but it seems like a simple option that works well if you follow the program.
Good luck finding a program that works for you!
