One tea that I love is called Throat Coat. It's actually for throat health. Whenever I or my friends are losing our voices and we have a show or audition, we guzzle it! The thing is, though, it's the BEST tasting tea I've ever had. I've been told it tastes a little bit like licorice, but I can't taste it. It just tastes good! It's not really sweet, but it sort of is. I can't quite describe it. If I wasn't so poor, I'd drink it all the time! Lol!
Another thing I do at night sometimes when I'm having a craving is to mix a fiber drink. On my meal plan, I need extra fiber, so I drink a glass or two of fiber every day. I put a table spoon of fiber into a glass of water and add Mio flavoring. They have all kinds of flavors. The fiber is really filling, and the flavoring makes you feel like you're consuming something sweet that is a treat. If you decide to add fiber to your diet, be sure to read the directions and follow them. Don't exceed the maximum amount that it lists.
Or, you can just add the flavoring to your water. Mio is good because unlike dry packets of flavoring, Mio is a liquid in a squeeze bottle, so YOU can choose how much flavoring you want per serving. If you're trying to avoid aspartame and sucralose, I've seen dry packets of flavoring that are all natural.
Have you tried arctic zero? It is like ice cream but it only has 150 cals for a pint and it is made with whey protein (12 grams of protein per pint) which will keep you full. I also drink chocolate unsweetened almond milk (45 cals per cup) and I add splenda, vanilla extract, or sometimes cinnamon to it for a sweet treat. Or you can make a milkshake with 1/2 cup almond milk and arctic zero blended, and it tastes really yummy! (167 cals!).
Those are my go to ideas. :)
