Dialysis Support Group
Dialysis is a type of renal replacement therapy which is used to provide an artificial replacement for lost kidney function due to renal failure. It is a life support treatment and does not treat any kidney diseases. Dialysis may be used for very sick patients who have suddenly lost their kidney function or for quite stable patients who have permanently lost their kidney...

and then further your searches on specific points you want to know more about.
e.g. diet, choices of dialysis techniques, fistula, graft, permacath, dialysis etc.

this is a hard one to answer as everyone responds differently to dialysis and this also depends upon what kind of dialysis, frequency and time on and off of dialysis..how you adapt to fluid and diet restrictions etc.
THE BIGGEST thing I can tell you is keep moving!!! though you might be tired after dialysis MOVE and LIVE on non dialysis days!
Find and continue to do things you love! This is so very important. I mean it!

dialysis is rough to get adjusted to at first from what i can tell. my father had heart and kidney failure at the same time and i take complete care of him. you will have good and bad days, but you will adjust. one important thing to do is never give up on getting better. eventually it will be like second nature to you.
if you have anything specific you have questions on i would be more than glad to help.
