but YES at this point it can be dealt with, I was almost completely blind when my diabetes went totally out of control because of a stressful period in the my life, but with me going aggressive re my diabetes my eye sight did return, in fact for a a couple of weeks I actually had 20 -20 something I never had since I was 7 years, but they said it was just a 'bounce back' and my eyes would settle into my prescription now which was actually better than I was the year before.
Get to a good eye professional also. Remember it is not just "sugar" it is carbs since carbs are sugars (called complex, made up of the simple sugar and more) Sugar free does not mean carb free
