Am pre diabetic , on metformin 500mg.
Recently being treated for costochondritis with steroids , non steroid drugs didn't work. My doc increased the metformin to 1000, and am also taking novonorm on emergency when the sugar levels are too high.
Has anyone got any experience with steroids.
Am Afraid this could tip me over to diabetes and insulin.
Appreciate any help I can get

Certain Meds raise our BS readings so we have to prepare for that and do what we have to do. I am on Insulin so I have to increase my units when the need arises.
