I have recently started doing the Atkins low carb way of eating, and I am very happy to say my BS #'s have never been better. Always under 7 and even my morning #'s are great now. They were always over 7 before, making me think it was the dawn affect, but since being on Atkins and lowering my carbs they are never over 5.5 first thing in the morning and they are also great throughout the day, no matter when I check. I am so happy about this, now if it just gets a little weight off me as well, I'll be ecstatic.

Yep, I do cheat once in a while, but I tell ya my numbers are great. Do you do a protein Bar, I hear good things about Extend, I have never had any, I just do peanut butter for my nite snack.

No, I haven't been doing anything that isn't on the induction phase, so far.
