I also experience the itchiness and it started when diagnosed. My Dr. told me it was a normal symptom of diabetes. I itch most of the time and have just gotten used to it. Sometimes it just feels like pin pricks and sometimes a bit worse, like a stabbing. Since my diagnosis I have had so many symptoms of weird things that I can hardly keep up with all of them. I feel like s___! But learning to accept it....kind of.

I am now going to try a gluten free diet, because of other symptoms and illness I have.
Also, I use Stevia as my main sugar sub.
thanks, I'm itching again!! I have also been dx'd with neurodermatitis, which means I itch when I get stressed out.
The less processed food we eat helps too. And also, I drink a ton of water daily.
