I do not take any medication for my diabete and have been able to control my blood glucose level for years with diet alone. My last A1C was 6.0.
However my fasting glucose levels have been rising lately . The only change is a new medication, primidone, which I take for another condition.
Now I am puzzled if primidone caused the elevated blood glucose levels or if my diabetes has just progressed to where I now need more help in controlling it. I will be checking in with my doctors in any event but was wondering is anyone in the community had any experience with primidone.

i can only locate one bit of info that states when taking certain Seizure meds like Mysoline(primidone) that you should not take certain Diabetic meds as it can raise the Blood Sugar.
There should be a pull out in the bag whenever you fill a prescription check it or ask your pharmacist I have found in all honesty that my Pharmacist knows Far more regarding interactions and side effects then my doctor does in most cases.
