My husband is taking 4 meds that affect the blood glucose readings and he has been there for over 30 years, doctors have learned finally with him (severe heart disease) so they don't question or tell him but they do have me check him and and he has numbers after meals we all would love to have, it is just the morning fasting
Now that I think about it, carbs as a complex sugar makes total sense.
