I've heard there is a meter which goes thru your skin, not requiring a needle prick. How accurate are these? They need to come up with an accurate one QUICK!! I hate needles!

Where's the Star Trek technology? We got cell phones. Now we need this!!

I've never heard of this. So how does it get through/under the skin without a needle? hhhmmmmm

I read they are working on a contact lens with a micro chip type computer that measures your BS through the tears in your eyes.....I'm guessing that that may be a few more years before they perfect it.
I'm with you.......needle free plz :)

I dont' know how it works. As I recall, it goes thru your arm and somehow senses your blood sugar. I should google it.

most meters also now let you test in various spots such as arm etc. I bruise easy so that idea didn't work for me and the finger tips got sore and I type all day at work, so I found out if I test between my nail and first knuckle on my fingers on the tops, little to the side, then no pain sores etc. I think I still have a picture of this in my photos. I don't use the thumb or little finger
