You can take your meter with you to the doctors the next time you go and ask them to test you with theirs and then you test with yours. This way you can see how much of a difference your meter shows versus the doctors. I do this once a year with mine. I just bought a new one and there was only 6 points difference between doctor and mine (doctor was the higher one)
