with me it was anytime my bs was under a certain number at the time i was able to decrease mine by 3 units. idk what insulin youre on. im lowered on the prednisone this sunday so im not on insulin anymorre FOR NOW. but it sucks knowing that when i do get bumped up i have to be on that. SMH! GRR evilsone i call it lol
i bruise too easily. i dont take the insulin alot only when im bumped up on the prednisone which happens when i get sick. which hopefully will stop soon if this recent surgery i had helps.

Ask your Doctor to be sure, I am sure he is an Endocrinologist, right. They should tell you..you pay them good $ for their advice.
i also dont go to an Endocrinologist anymore. my last one wasnt as aggressive or anything and there arent any in my area. none that go to the hospital i go to etc., and none that take my insurance.
not in a good area with drs. im lucky to even have a good pulmonologist with my asthma close by
