Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...
I think it's normal, since I was really border line to start with anyway.
I just did 20 minutes worth of salsa dancing......I bet I need a healthy snack as my BS was border low before dancing.
You are doing good. Keep listening to your body (and doctor) as they will be your best guide.
(you have the simple refined kind and then the complex ones which are the carbs)
you need to discuss what you are doing with the doctor also
If you are low or have been recently, do not drive. Diabetes UK say wait 45 minutes after your blood sugar has returned to normal before driving.
Eating as you described can push you into diabetic condition, with or without medications. No person should be eating like that.
Your body healed really quick, and you should be proud of your weight. Now, take control of your sick care doctor and be in control of your health!
I don't feel good at all these past few days.
Just because a person is in control, doesn't mean they automatically can come off meds, it just doesn't always happen, many on insulin for instance can't come off meds, even me I can't come off my meds, I have tried and it doesn't work no matter what someone says about getting off all meds. The meds are helping us to keep control and sometimes they need to be tweaked so please always check with doctor first, could be something else
complex carbs and lots of fibler will help you not to yoyo so much. do see your health care provider and ask to talk to a dietitian.
One thing to watch out for tho, is the quick fixes, and the miracle cures etc, this is for life and there is no cure, etc and always run things past your doctor, and talk to us
