I need help..... I've had this pain in my foot for about 6 weeks,
It's on the top of my left foot on the left side in front of the ankle.
It just throbs most of the time. I think it could be swollen a little.
I wish I could draw a picture of the exact location, but maybe you get the idea.
Could it be from circulation? I've read something about Diabetic circulation. I've tried ice, but it doesn't help.
I also take Tylenol at night to sleep and rub it with Horse rub.
I have an appointment with my doctor in the middle March for my blood checkup, but I think I should try for another appointment, if possible, before it to see what is going on.
The last checkup was good...........
Anyway, have any of you had this problem?

Go see your Doctor he'll fix that.
And, yes I have foot and leg pain from Neuropathy. It has also started in both hands. I don't even use insulin yet. This was actually the first symptom I had regarding diabetes. It is extremely painful, and I've working since 2009 to get it controlled. It has not yet happened.
Other problems cause pain. Stress, weather, Neuromas - little tumors on the nerves of the toes. Circulation problems, bad fitting shoes. Just so many things can make leg and foot problems. Seeing a doctor will just relieve your worries.
Could be as serious as a blood clot or as simple as a small sprang. But you won't know till you see your doctor.
I have had many things wrong with my feet in the past, so just gave you a few ideas. I would not jump to seeing a doctor right away unless it is a foot doctor. He would probably order x-rays. Never heard of a blood clot in the foot??? Tylenol does not help me Advil helps inflammation.
I am not one to 'run' to drs and I think you live in Canada which sorts patients as to how bad the problem is so you may wait a long time to get in for a sore ankle....not sure.
the only time I've had my feet hurt was over a sunburn.. I've been lucky in that area with diabetes.
