Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. strawberries are wonderful...low carb and sweet. I even do a frozen strawberries and almond milk (unsweetened) and splenda (or whatever) thick shake. I do a cake in a mug...with almond flour that I think is listed on diabetic recipies....I use pintrest and diabetic facebook groups to learn more...
but as my husband said to me today- (I found some granola bars to take on his business trips, and he over did it) "it is up to the diabetic to make good choices" not you....bang. I can buy and make all sorts of good stuff, but it doesn't help if they eat it all at once.
maybe going for a walk- exercise is encouraged, would be helpful. acknowledging how difficult it is...and no junk food stops.
I also stopped eating snacks and lost weight myself.
she has to stop the sweets...the long run results are just awful.
