dont' do fried, do baked and boiled, (the fats tend to keep numbers up higher and longer, same with starches) stay away from white breads, pastas (do the dreamfield brand) potatoes and rice since the starches also mess with the control of numbers.
Watch your portion controls, and when you see things that say "sugar free", they are not in reality since carbs are sugars and sometimes they have more carbs than just the regular food equivelent.
I do baking a lot and will substitute splenda or the splenda mix in the recipes, have had some flops tho so you need to watch lol.
you can eat fruits, (pick the smaller sizes) the sugars in them are different (they are a natural sugar) and yes raise numbers, but then everything we eat does, but fruits will come down much quicker, plenty of veggies tho watch corn and carrots since they have high sugar content
