Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...
Did you check to make sure you were at the doctors office? (sorry...sick joke....I'll try to behave).
I sent you well wishes....but they went to cyber heaven :(
I do hope you feel better soon.
But it is allowed in that office. You should start looking for a practice that cares about their patients
She "SEEMS" nice enough, but this isn't my first encounter with her that I have doubted her "Diabetic Education", or MD manners.
My mission now will be to find another CDE or Dietician who is also a "Diabetic".
Oh, did I mention that a non-diabetic 20 something MA wanted to test my sugar with a 21 gauge lancet to the pad of my finger ? ? ?
I told her I would use my own lance and device, but she couldn't get "her" meter to work properly, so after 3 stabs I told her to give me a strip, I would also use my own meter.
"21 GAUGE IN THE FINGER" Is she crazy?
If I were you, I'd be really nice until I'm in the parking lot and then I'd run really fast to my car and never go back.
Just imagine if you had a serious issue, what will they do? Tell you to take tylenol?
I'm so lost and feel so all alone.
Talked to the MD in charge of her and all she said was she gave me a referral for a colonoscopy last summer. ? ? ? ? ? ?
What is looking inside an empty colon for cancer going to tell any one why when the colon has content, that content is not what it should be.

First I thought it was the Metformin - - - probably was - - - but this is NOT the same problem.
The NEW health care reform may be helping those who never had health ins. but now the system is being flooded and the rest of us aren't getting even half the care we should be getting. :(
If the color is any other color and is consistently that color, then you should let your doctor know.
I've had my share of stomach issues. I've learned to do things to help myself like taking digestive enzymes and probiotics.
