Does anyone take cinnamon regularly. I've read some amazing reports, but I'd like to know from actual people what their results have been. I've started with cinnamon stick "tea" with accacia honey so far my readings are a little lower than usual, but not much.

Cinnamon never did anything for me. From what I read on another post a long time ago you have to have a special cinnamon from India.

I resently went to a new Doctor. I was taking the cinnamon pills and ask the Doctor about it and she said that it does not work. Just a myth. So i stopped taking it but a coworkers husband says it works for him?

I think both cinnamon and chromium work on some; not on others. And if you think it works or doesnt, the question is 'how do you know what your numbers would be with or without taking them".

I have been taking cinnamon capsules for quite a while and believe it has helped me. Even when I couldn't afford my meds I took the capsules and my highest bs reading was 156.

How many mg of cinnamon do you take with each meal?

I haven't been consistent with it, but a friend who has been insulin dependent for years said just adding the cinnamon caps (nature made caps she got at Target) brought her aic down a whole point with no other changes. She's be on me like a big dog to take my cinnamon.

I repeat - how many mg pre meal.
foxysdad

Its a myth. Ive read in trial studies that it really has little or no efffect.

And there have been studies showing that it does help. It's up to you to decide whether it's right for you.

I'll repeat - for some it works and others it doesnt. Because its not expensive I bought 2000 mg with chromium and we'll see what happens. It says to take 2 a day
