I don't know why you would not mention it to your doctor, it would not hurt. And if you are diabetic, its best to know sooner than later.

get in some daily exercise, all this does help control the numbers and in the beginning many can control by diet and excercise..
Hubby has been Diabetic since he was 9 yrs old so is used to the routine.
The 7.6 reading seems odd, but what did you eat late the night before? When I eat meat or lots of carbs late at night, my early FBG is definately higher. How much exercise did you have prior to the 6.3 reading? Even a small amount of exercise can lower my BG a lot.
