The meter is a guide line, in reality our blood sugar changes every second so just use one. The only sure way is getting the Lab to do it and there again after they do....your reading will be different. All meters do that I am sure.
meters will also get old and the readings will be off somewhat more, my doctor has me test my meter against them every year and when the point spread goes too much, then time for a new meter.
