I had a scary experience wed. my blood sugar was 668 and my blood pressure was 293/103. I went to the ER they gave me some insilin and some blood pressure pill and watched me closely for a few hours to it came down then sent me home. I still dont feel right sugar is still a little high 277 just took my metformin horse pill thoigh hoefully that will help some. I am scared now though I am getting neorpothy in my feet burning stabbing pains in my feet. Anyone have this? would like to know what to take for it. Any suggestions on natural stuff if need be if not what med helps. thanks in advance.... this was a reaction to my med i was taken zyprexa. caused high blood sugar...
There is a device called Rebuilder but it's expensive and doctors don't seem to approve. Some say it works great, though.
Just a word of personal advice: don't get into heavy pain meds. My sister was on oxycontin for 12 years. Surprisingly, she didn't get addicted (quit w/o much trouble) but kept needing more to control the pain and that has pretty much ruined her life. She's much better off w/o it and her pain has started to settle down after many months.
