Today i was getting supper ready grilling some burgers and stuff and i felt warm and i was getting very shaky and not right. I take my sugar although i am not a diabetic. I do have a test kit since mother had diabetes and i am now 69 i tested my sugar and it was 64 very low for me so i remember mother took orange juice so i took some orange juice and ate dinner. I will wait a couple hours and test again. What are your thoughts i did take an A1C test on saturday however have not got the scores back and also i have hashimotos thyroid problems.
yes, oj - half a glass and test again in 15 minutes. you don't have to wait hours. If it is still low, have a bit more.
Don't be alone, If you passed out, who would find you? (my husband once left a store and went to his car when he started having low blood sugar...and I really yelled at him, because it was a very unsafe choice.)
