Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...

#1 - get lots of sun and lots of people around you
#2 - sugar is required by your brain to convert in to serotonin (without serotonin, you will be depressed) Since you are diabetic, increasing your sugar probably won't help. There's this thing called 5-htp. Do your own research and give that a try. Works great for me.
#3 - There's this thing called natural light therapy. I thought it was a boat load of BS but tried it anyway. Works great for me but it does take a few weeks, so if you try that, be patient.
Your diabetes is not going to go away, You need to find a way to live with it and change your way of thinking about it and that is where the therapy comes in.
I don't see the point in going to any hospital if you are determined not to co-operate and at least try what the doctors suggest. Try to keep an open mind, it can't hurt right? There is no magic cure for this, you have to work hard and let the doctors help you. But it could be that being in hospital where the doctors can put your insulin on a drip and stabilize your blood sugars while allowing your foot to heal could help you in itself.
One of the most difficult parts of mental illness is that it affects your ability to perceive things. So it might seem to you that you are not ill, or that you should not take medication, but in reality that might not be the case. It is really hard but I think you need to trust the medical professionals and take their advice. Once you are stabilized you can then feel better and more able to work on your diabetes.
if you refuse to swallow it you could be held and injected with slow release medication.
So You should be aware of the risks, but also the possible benefits if you need help ;Your going to need to ask
try to get advice from a local doctor as to if you need to be in hospital or treated at home
Mental hospitals are not good places to be unless absolutely necessary
