Ok, it was thanksgiving and I just wanted to enjoy without having to question anything and I didn't bother checking glucose levels. I'm sure it spiked a little but I'll let God worry about it for me. Then I'll go back to strict dieting. I don't think one time is going to kill me.

How did you do on your thanksgiving?

cheating once in a while won't hurt, just make sure it doesn't become a habit.

Thanksgiving at my house was quiet, dogs spent the day sniffing the air and guarding the stove lol....guess they didn't want the turkey to escape.

Just so you don't feel bad...I cheated....just a little. I had my mom's home made bread stuffing (My very favorite) and a few other no no items. I waited a few hours before delving into a few desserts which is out of the norm for me becuz I usually don't eat sweets....but hey......I don't do it all the time. I took modest portions and all was good in my world :)
It was a quiet but wonderful day with just a few of us gathering in my very small house.
