Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...
May I address "not taking any Meds" will just deteriorate your body, you'll still feel like crap. So I wouldn't do that.
When we don't think properly everything messes upr, so get your thinking (depression) sorted out and then tackle you diet and exercise programs.
I can't imagine what you are going through at this moment, but suicide (slow or fast) is a permanent solution to a temporary problem (I know it doesn't feel temporary and possibly things have been wrong for awhile....but life changes all the time).
You are not alone in eating wrong.....it's a common issue with many ppl.....including myself before diagnosis. I too was the heaviest I ever was, but cutting my carbs and cutting out the white starchy and fried foods helped. I feel better physically AND mentally.
However, do not feel ashamed or defeated becuz you need help in getting on track.....plz reach out to a professional right away...ok?
You can do this.......I know you can! ((((((((Hugs))))))))))
go stand in front of a mirror and tell that person looking back that "I can do this, I will do this and then get on the phone and call to get help...keep telling yourself you can do this.

Hang in there!
I also take the 2 kinds of insulin. Still worried what the cost will be when I reach Medicare. I use the very small pen needles 32 gauge and 4mm long. Injecting in the side of my upper leg is the easiest and almost completely painless.
Not trying to get your sugars down, and not wanting to take the meds or insulin, will let the disease get the best of us. You won't speed up the process either. It will still take years, and you will not want the life it will leave you with. I for one don't want to deal with the complications.
I don't have the best of eyesight - glasses since I started school - but I CAN SEE, and my feet would never get me into a shoe commercial, but I CAN WALK.
If you would like or need to talk more, contact me and we can chat.
I too have Depression, and support from other people helps.
Wishing you Better Health and a Better Day!
