I use 2% all the time, but I do something different with it. I hate skim, can't get myself to eat cereal with skim milk. What I've done is get a jug of skim and a jug of 2% and mix them making 1%, 1% can be pricey. Mixing them is my favorite way to drink milk. I always thought of this tidbit with the Calvin and Hobbes quote "I'm not dumb, I just have an abundance of useless information." Take care and God bless you!!!

I always use 2% milk except when I get chocolate milk whick I can drink 1% then.

I personally used to drink 2% all the time, but have since cut down to 1% and i don't find any difference in taste, etc... I don't use as much milk as i used to, so maybe that's it. Just on my cereal and in my soup. I like the taste of more soup anyway, lol. 1% in milk i don't think will make a huge difference, unless you're consuming gallons of it. Hugs, Deb :0)

I always use skim milk here. If you follow a good diet and have the extra fat and calories that are in 2% then there's no real reason you couldn't use it.

2% milk is 2% fat BY WEIGHT. By caloric content, it's something like 65% fat -- twice what anyone is supposed to have, and about 3x what a diabetic is supposed to have. It's a tall, cool glass of heart attack my friend!

Ineresting, so many here use 2% I use 1% and just last week I was reading in a diebetic article not to use 2% I found that 2% is pretty close to whole milk. I also use Silk Soy especially if I have a bowl of cereal before I go to bed.

I eat for health, not enjoyment so skim rules. i will seldom eat for pleasure. If I do its Pasta w/sausage & meatballe, not milk

I'm not much of a milk drinker so I couldn't tell you the difference between 1% and 2%; from what I've read here though; it doesn't sound like there's much of a difference.
