last month when i met with my diabetes nurse, she said that coffee is good for diabetics....without sweeteners of course....she didn't elaborate on how or why its good for diabetics...i still have a few classes to attend so i'll ask...
i grew up drinking "coffee milk", a cajun style of coffee as my daddy was from Louisiana..basically a little coffee with more milk and sugar...like a dessert!!
i'm trying to get used to my coffee with a splash of 2% milk, but i notice that even the milk will raise my levels...
i hadn't thought about using the lower carb cream...so thanks suzzziz....i'll give that a go. :)
