I have been on met for about 5 1/2 years and it does well in helping to control my numbers, along with diet and exercise
In the beginning of diagnosis and in some all the time, they can control with just diet and exercise, you could be one of those people Proverb.....I did so for the first 10 years but the disease can progress, now I am on met once a day
I am however disappointed with my doctor for not telling to at least try to reduce the metformin once my A1C stabilized.
