Testing blood sugars again

Hello everyone, 


Iv'e got great news!..or at least I'm getting there! I have started to test my blood sugars again after close to five years of failing to do so. Really huge special shout out to Tawnee and AtPeaceMary. Thanks so much to you two for the push I needed to test my blood- I forgot the feeling of knowing just what and why I feel the way I do. Actually, it's surprising that when I tested and got high numbers (because they weren't all great readings), I actually felt the symptoms related to my poor numbers and could associate symptoms I've never been able to trace the reason for to my highs. It is also surprising the feeling of control that is starting to come back to me just by knowing what my numbers are- at least this is my start, and hopefully soon I'll be able to kick my habit of neglecting my diabetes and be able to fully incorporate diabetes routines in my life fully. It is not a nice thing to have, but we can live with it. Remember what works for me, might not work for you. I am on insulin and I find it so much easier to control. Stress does push those pesky numbers up. Exercise helps too.

    I had gone to the grocery store.  When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute.  A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked.  I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds.  But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026.  I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away.  It was an ordinary middle age...
