I am in complete despair. I see a lot of good reads. Just no support.


Should we start one?


I have tears because I feel so alone.


I have always been good. But now not at all.

I completely get your feelings about not having 1.5 group. I mean I know T2's deal with a lot of the same issues T1's do especially if they are on insulin, but somehow it never feels like they truly get it.

Although I might not truly get it (especially since I really don't ever recall not being a diabetic and I'm betting you have those good ol' days in your memory), but I certainly welcome you here with open arms and I am betting I can at least relate to some degree to your woes, complaints, and yes even those rare success stories if you'd like to share them.

Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge about 1.5, so I'm afraid I can't help. However, having a rare disorder myself, I can relate in that sense. Hugs, and I'm always willing to listen.

I feel the same I just got diagnosed 3 years ago I am on metformin and insulin and they keep telling me I have both 1 and 2 I get so depressed plus I have been working out trying to loss weight and when my sugars do good my weight goes up it seems I am doing weight watchers and working out. The doctor told me insulin would make it very hard for me to loss weight. I worry at night that I've taken too much insulin and wont wake up its so frustrating 3 years and I am still trying to get my sugar under control. hugs I know its hard
