idk but for some reason i dought she thought anything bad some ppl just have a certain look , but itis not like how they are. i know how that can be taken , it is not how they are. this is my experence for what it is worth.

Some elderly people are pretty freaking blind lol so they have to do double takes:-) and they squint up their face lol :-) but it is annoying not knowing why they are staring you down :-)

Probably admiring your beauty and you took it the wrong way. I think many people with depression/anxiety (like me) tend to take things personally.
A few months ago my daughter and I went into the post office and somebody left their money and paperwork on the counter and next thing I knew this woman starts CUSSING at me really loud and accusing me of these ridiculous things. She tells everyone in the post office (in a loud voice) that I had followed her into the post office "knowing that she had money" (yeah, right).
I was so hurt and embarrassed. I was ready to say something to her but my daughter kept saying, "Let's get out of here right now".
Now, the average person would realize that this woman was the one with the problem, but a sensitive person like me always thinks "Was it my looks?", "Do I look weird?", "Do I look like a nice person so they are taking it out on a sucker?"
I wasn't going to curse at her, I wanted to just say, "Well if this is your money, then why don't you come get it off the table instead of taking it out on others?" but my daughter insisted that we leave.
It upset me for weeks. Wish I could not let those things bother me but they do.
If I realized I left my money on the table, you can be sure I'd get out of the line and make a bee line to get it before it was stolen.
People used to stare at me too when I was younger. I told my ex about it and one day we went to MacDonald's and he said, "You're right. People DO stare at you". ROFL

thank u for clarifying that! i know ppl say old ppl dont mean to be rude yes they do if they said hurt your feelings and didnt apologize for it, they meant to be rude! i cant stand it when ppl just turn the other cheek when old ppl are just plain rude.

i always had that prob in my life of ppl staring. the other day, someone was looking at me while i was doing something and couldnt understand why it wasnt a dirty or evil look just a stare. i had this prob since i was a kid no one sat me down and explain some ppl stare for many reasons although it is rude to stare as well.

some people just are starers. It happens.

I rarely stare of others, but I do get a blank stare on my face. If your in the line of my eye, I am not looking at you put rather past you. In other words, I don't even see you.

It sounds like the old lady was being very rude! Good for you for flipping her off! I don't usually advocate stooping to someone's level but in this case it sounds like she deserved it! Don't let it ruin the rest of your day or crawl under a rock! You're too good for that!
