just yelled at my girlfriend again. I left some paper in the sink, she kindly told me to clean it up and i freaked out. I feel bad. I have been feeling so sad lately, like life has no purpose. I moved south from my kids, they are in their 20s, i miss them terribly. I see them maybe 3 times a year. I have no other family but them. No friends here, and a girlfriend who think i am nuts. I cry a lot and sleep on the floor because its all i feel i deserve. I give up.

Can you try to visit your kids more or move closer to them. There are undoubtedly barriers, but would make sense to deal with those barriers to be closer to your children who you love. I know my son's natural father moved 2,500 miles away for a better job but maybe it would have been better to live closer and earn less.

yes, i can try to do that. I am right now 9 hours south of them. I have not seen them since december. a short dinner.. wahoo... really? the problem is i just built a business down here doing a lot of what i love. yet, it all seems to be veiled over by the constant depression that is there all the time in missing my kids.
my girlfriend says i was depressed when i was up north also... i dunno, but after barely seeing them, going back to what was there would not be so bad.
i am so torn about all of this.....
