I've been thinking and thinking on this one.

It depends on the question/dilemma at hand as to whose opinion I would put the most faith in.

However my oldest daughter's approval is the approval that means most to me. I have to admit, I am so secure in the knowledge of my husband's love and approval that I take him a tad for granted.

I would say my mom and a couple trusted friends.

But really, at the risk of sounding insensitive, it's my own. If I don't believe in somethng or don't feel comfortable with it, I won't do it.

I have to say my own opinion.

My own opinion is what I have to depend on. Since the death of a friend years ago my own judgement is what I have to count on. My judgement is sometimes guided by prayer but for the most part it's me.

I don't think it's insensitive or selfish to say someone relies on their own opinion. It's important to be self-aware in terms of how you feel about a certain situation and your options. Sometimes I ask someone else's opinion between two choices just to test my gut reaction :P

Sometimes I get too confused to make sense of my own feelings, though. Then I rely on my other half, and the same goes for him. That's not to say that I'll take his word as the be-all-end-all, but he provides me with precious, priceless balance and reason.

I like this question. Everyones opinon matters to me though. To much to the that I fear rejection.

A lot of it depends on the subject matter. But when it comes down to it I'd say that my wife's opinion matters the most to me.

The opinions that are most important are of those I ask for an opinion from...and of course, my own opinion.

I wish I could rely more on other people's opinions, but I'm just not close to very many people so I rely mostly on my own opinion.

I'm with Kaino there are very few trusted people that I would ask an opinion of ... but I usually go with my own (even as warped as it may be sometimes ) !!!!!
