Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Recovering from a failed relationship can be really difficult. I'm wondering if you made a list, kind of like a pro/con list, but instead write the ways the relationship was healthy, and the ways it was unhealthy, you may be able to see that there were a few good things and an overwhelming amount of unhealthy things about the relationship. I don't think you should view it as a mistake, of course be happy about the healthy things you got from the relationship, but see how you are better off out of it. I don't think you should forget what happened, but take it and learn from it so that you can set boundaries next time, and maybe be more successful. You will find a better love, because if you can learn from this relationship, then you can find someone who doesn't accuse you of having a personality disorder, someone who won't break up with you, then sleep with you and never call back. You will find someone who loves you, and you can love back, and have a great healthy relationship.
Hang in there. Love doesn't happen instantly, it takes nurturing and boundaries to keep things from going to quickly - in my experience, that can really set a relationship up to fail. Taking things a little slower may be frustrating, like you want to dive in, but think of it as building the tension ; )
