Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I've have the same issues before . The only thing I've found that works is to get you a tea thick notebook a five star is good and just write down what you feel it may be dark .twisted.or even close to what people would call a suicide letter but getting it out helps . The scares will heal . Mine are a reminder if what I used to be angry. And misunderstanding

Sounds like medication or some inpatient time is in order. Definitely meds and some routine and structure to stem the destructive behavior.

I'm sorry about what's happening. If possible, tell someone you trust about what you are experiencing and seek help. If you can't, try some alternatives to venting your emotions. When you're angry, try rubbing ice where you want to cut, using the 'rubber band' technique (put a rubber band around your wrist, pull it back a little bit and then let go), punching a pillow, screaming, or violently scribbling on a piece of paper. When you feel sad, crying is a good thing but also try drawing (anywhere, yourself included in this) with markers and pens, breathing excerises, listening to music and writing. You're going to make it through this, even if you don't think so.
