So after taking myself off of my meds because they were making me suicidal, and finding out that my dh was starting a relationship with a man online, I found out today that he has been using the internet at work instead of at home to keep in touch. What next?>?? I just want to run away from it all!!!!!!!!!!

The important thing is that you found out about it. I don't know alot about it but is this the first time this has happened? It all depends on what you think should happen. Do you love him enough to see if things can be worked out? I wish you luck.

This is the first time that I know of with a man. I have caught him on the internet with a woman. He has had a problem with lying to me since before we were married so I don't know that I can trust him. Even his 21 year old daughter tells me that he is a lier.

How long have you been married? Did your husband's Internet affair with a woman stay confined to the Internet, or did they get together in person? What did his daughter say about his lying?

Having affairs may be a part of his (lack of) character. Who knows how much more he is doing that you just haven't discovered yet. Many men like this never change--what they have with their spouse is never enough. They don't want a relationship that's open to the light of day, they crave the forbidden and like sneaking around. I'm not making excuses for him or saying that what he does is OK, because it's not OK.

I understand why you would want to run away from him and everything that comes with him. What ARE you staying for? What led you to marry a man that you already knew lied to you?

We have been married for 13 years. I thought that he would stop lying to me after we were married. I don't think that he has ever had a physical affair, but I don't know how to trust him. I am still here because for one thing I am scared to be alone and we have two boys and I don't want to destroy the "perfect" family unit. My oldest son does not like his Dad but the youngest (6) still thinks that Dad is cool.
