Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
It's great that you like and appreciate your friends and the support you get here because that's another feature of this site, but in all honesty, you've pretty much described the extent of what this site can do - the rest is up to you.
You're really good at describing what you need and want in your life. It's wonderful that you know what's missing and what you need to feel fulfilled. It sounds like you're at a point where you may need to start taking small actionable steps to start attaining some of those things.
You're a smart woman and you don't need me to continue to make the same suggestions over and over. I feel confident that you have the ability to start moving in the direction of connecting with others in meaningful ways so that you can start to feel better.
Wishing you peace
I seem to have this really fundamental inability to connect with anyone on a lasting and meaningful level or to feel any genuine happiness or security. and the resulting loneliness and isolation is just brutal. thank you again. you guys do mean a lot to me. it's just hard because I am in a lot of pain and going out and finding what I need seems unattainable.
Just continue to search for online forums about stuff you like. Idk how to use that stuff very well and it always seems to lead to something gross that I don't want to see. Maybe you will have better luck and more patience than me.
