Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

It does sound like there is a serious problem in the marriage. From what you describe, it sounds like your depression is taking away not only yours but his happiness as well. He has let it build up and now it is coming out. He has reached a point where the weight of your issues is more than he chooses to take on. I think he is telling you "I can't do it anymore."
You both need to get to a counselor fast. Your husband may not even know what the problem is (as I see it), but living with a depressed person is very stressful, and difficult. You both need to go to a counselor so that the problem is realized for what it is by both of you. The weight of your depression is not only resting on you, but your husband also, and being the depression doesn't BELONG to him, (it is solely yours), he wants the weight off of him, one way or another.
I personally believe one owns their own depression and the weight of it should only be shared with a professional. Otherwise, the partner has reason to "dislike". You can learn ways to share your life with your husband and not put your "baggage" on his shoulders. Depression robs people of happiness.
You might want to tell your husband that you have recently realized how much happiness he has spent dealing with your condition, and you want to start learning how to deal with it between you and your professional. Tell him what you want from him is the happiness you can give to him and he can give to you and you will try to take your pain and difficulties to your therapist.
