Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I agree with the above post-physical activity is a great way to get some endorphins flowing which can absolutely help increase positivity.
Some people also find it helpful to write a few things down that they are grateful for before they go to bed. This can be a challenge when you're feeling depressed, at least it was for me and when I first started doing this I would often write things like 'i have running water' Eventually, though I was able to see more and more good things, so if you try this be patient with yourself <3
It can also be helpful to volunteer. Animal shelters, libraries etc...always need helping hands and doing something good for someone else for an hour or two per week can be extremely powerful.
Whatever you decide to do, it's ok to take small steps. Celebrate each little step, because small steps add up. I can see how hard you're trying and that's what matters <3
For both, if you are comfortable getting one, a hug goes a long way. A real one, an open heart full body embrace. A half ass hug can almost make it worse.
I commiserate with you. And personally understand that pain. They say time heals all wounds but it can also deepen the scar. Dont wait find that person or pet that can help embrace you.
