my brother just called to tell me that my 17 year old neice Brittany is pregnant and now this means i'm going to be a Great Aunt- so one more thing to remind me that i'm getting older and i'm still childless... i have to admit - i'm very bitter over this- especially knowing my oldest brother is gonna be a grandpa and he will never see the kid..... then my step neice just told everyone she might be pregnant to- which is this same brothers step daughter.... so double whammy for the family for the week and she is 16 .... or 17 also.... woo hoo- so these teens are pregnant and i'm gonna be half of 50 this year- thats right- 25 and still no baby for Brandi ! someone shoot me in the head...... shoot me in the head now... Great Aunt B- feel sorry for her- she has no children and never will.... i am happy , scared and jealous of them in some way.... although i want to feel bad for them- i know there are way too many forms of birth control out these days to say they didn't know how to stop it from happening... yes i am bitter that i'm childless- can u tell? everyone around me are having babies and i want to be a mother so bad- i just don't see it happening for me.... i'm a ugly loser who nobody wants to make a baby with and my body won't get pregnant- or ok i'm assumming..... :( very very depressed now- very............................... do u know how it feels to be surrounded by children and yet none of them are ur own- that really blows.... :(

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad about this. You are NOT old even slightly, you have lots of time to have your own child/children.

AND when it happens you will be more mature and much better able to handle it than those teenagers will.

Sweetie, I don't know what that feels like but I care. I was Blessed with children, now grown. You are NOT old. I am older than you. My sister is older than me, never could have children and was bitter, then she started teaching school, she's retired now. She still helps children and adults learn to read. I am so sorry you are hurting.

Also there are many, many children that need a mother. My husband and I have thought about taking in a foster child, which often leads to adoption.

i have always wanted to be a foster parent and eventually adopt even if i do have children of my own- but right now i can't even take care of myself on my own- much less find a man who wants to have a child with me.... obviously something is wrong with me .... i just feel like i'm surrounded by friends and family having their own children and it will never happen for me...

Last weekend my two children(2&4) got up in the middle of the night and got a bottle of honey poured it all over the carpet walked through it and in nearly every room of the house, they also got the pudding cups out of the fridge, and what they didnt eat they stired in the toilet. Did you know that a pudding cup fits nicely in the hole of the toilet and you cant see it and can spend a great deal of time trying to figure out why it wont flush..I DO NOW..So anyway I have two kids for rent on the weekends now if you would like to share mine till you have your own..=) HUGS

sorry i had to LOL at the pudding cups in the toilet. thankfully the 2 of mine cant do things like that yet lol. im dreading when the baby is old enough to copy her sister lol.

i watch kids for a living- so around them all day - and then i also watch my sisters 2 boys- 7 and 1 and a half... so been around kids my whole life- started babysitting at 11 and ever since its been one of my biggest dreams to have atleast 1 of my own... i would gladly take ur kids on the weekends - lol- but then i'd get arrested for kidnapping - just feeling really frustrated right now about this whole situation - also i feel bad that i'm not more supportive to my neices.... friggin A....

Brandi, ur young but i can understand not being able to concieve. My 26 yo daughter has been trying for almost 5 yrs. Give it time hun. They really arnt all that fun all the time.
the 26 yo, when she was 2-3 stuck a french fry up her nose & almost had to take her to the ER.

LMFAO lost2bp, that is way too funnny.

Kid stories r always funny. The same daughter decided to take the front door knob off & the dead bolt then couldnt put it back together.

Ur day will come when u tell silly stories bout ur kids & bring out the necked pics on a bear skin rug to their gf/bf. I always do that.

its just really getting to me mentally to be around so many friends and family members that are having/ have had babies.... i know i should not worry til years down the line and then if nothing happens i should be concerned- but seems like everyone can get pregnant but me... and they always tell me it was an accident or i'm scared and it wasn't planned what do i do with the baby and i'm like- here i am wanting to be pregnant and have a baby- but i just feel deep down inside- it will never happen for me...

i would like to thank everyone for all ur kind words and replies on this- without ya'll i don't know how i would've made it through the day without being in tears... i appreciate every word and i love u all ! xxxxxxxxxx! gotta go do dishes now and listen to music and try to escape my pathetic life....
