2. if you are having auditory hallucinations you need to talk to a professional. auditory hallucinations are the most common type of hallucination and don't only affect people with schizophrenia like you might believe - could be a sign of some other schizo-affective disorder, some kind of delusion disorder, or even the result of extreme stress possibly related to severe depression or insomnia.

Doesn't necessarily mean there is anything big going on.. but better get a professional opinion.

You should really talk to your pdoc or GP. Hell, maybe you could talk to your pastor.

Some may beleive this is a sign from God. I myself beleives but there is alot of stuff in the bible that i dont agree with.

yeh i hear vocies when im psychotic.
mines mainly a evil man devil vocie telling me "they will kill you"

ive also had vocies in my head gavin and jason but i not heard them for a while.
one time i had the fire alarm talking to me.

never any religous stuff though.
i think u need to tell ur docter so u can get anti-psychotics.x

Me too, only when I'm psychotic do I hear voices, which is more just in my mind than out loud though it's scary because it starts to tell a story and I can't get out. Not good. I would recommend you talk to your doctor or psychiatrist. They have good anti-psychotics to make it go away, though there are side effects too like restlessness. I take a sleeping pill to counter that effect.

Oh, it can last two or three days or more if I am not careful. Each time I heard voices, I went to the hospital and was usually okay after about a week with medications.

I've never heard any religious stuff, but when I am alone I hear people in other rooms of my house. There is no talking that is clear, just sounds like someone is talking in the other room or even moving around doing stuff. When I get closer to where I think it is coming from, it stops and it always happens in rooms FAR away from where I am. Since it is not IN my head an no one is talking clearly or directly to me, I just write it off as me just being alone and freaked out.

No voices...But I often hear music that I guess no one else hears... Drives me crazy, makes me want to shove cotton balls up my ears at night.
